Guanlan Ancient Village is located in Guanlan Street, Longhua District, Shenzhen, and is one of the only remaining "Four Famous Villages" in Shenzhen's history.
The appearance of ancient village buildings is well preserved, fully preserving the historical style of the late Qing and Republic of China periods. It is also a physical witness of Hakka folk customs and has the value of learning architectural art and culture.
The most obvious symbol of the architecture here is the watchtower, as well as shops, residential buildings, red towers, and artillery towers. The architectural forms are diverse, all of which have an ancient flavor and a folk street.
The entrance is located under an ancient tree, with an ancient temple where one can burn incense and worship Buddha.
In addition to tasting snacks, watching classic pavilions, you can also stop and go to the beauty education research base to appreciate various handicrafts brought by Longhua elementary school students, learn about insects, Chinese movable type printing technology, and so on. The author specially spelled a movable type "Chunyuan Creation".
With a lot of sightseeing, you can also visit ancient ruins, historical architectural relics left by the ancients, and commercial streets with distinctive features.
